Tanya Tagaq Announces New Album, Shares Video for New Song “Tongues”

Inuk singer Tanya Tagaq has announced that she has a new album coming next year. It’s called Tongues and it’s produced by Saul Williams and mixed by Gonjasufi. Tagaq has shared a video for the title track, animated by Driftnote. Check it out with the tracklist and album cover below.

Tongues—out March 11, 2022, via Six Shooter—is Tagaq’s sixth full-length solo record, following 2016’s Retribution. She released an EP in 2019 titled Toothsayer, which accompanied an exhibit at the British National Maritime Museum.
