“‘Secrets’ is about interconnectivity, privacy, and digital anxiety,” Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin stated in a press release. “It’s also about a need to keep sharing, to keep giving up more and more of yourself to faceless strangers in the hopes of making friends or fans.”
“Secrets (Your Fire)” will appear on Magdalena Bay’s debut album Mercurial World. The record, which is out October 8, also includes “Chaeri.”
