Michael Bibi Triumphantly Announces One Life World Tour Following Cancer Recovery
In an inspiring turn of events, renowned British DJ and producer Michael Bibi has unveiled plans for a global tour, aptly titled One Life, slated for 2024. This announcement, made via social media on 10th January, marks a significant chapter in Bibi’s life and career, following his recent victory over cancer.
Last December, Bibi joyously declared that he was officially free of cancer after a challenging six-month battle. The announcement of One Life not only signifies his return to the global stage but also a celebration of life and resilience.
While specifics regarding the tour dates and locations remain under wraps, Bibi has revealed that a portion of the tour’s proceeds will be donated to various cancer charities. This includes the Foundation Trust of The Royal Marsden Hospital, a place pivotal to his own healing journey.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Bibi stated, “I’m excited to celebrate life,” accompanying the announcement with a vibrant poster featuring a butterfly, symbolizing transformation and renewal, and hashtags #fkcancer and #onelifetour.
One Life will be Bibi’s grand re-entry into the international music scene since his diagnosis of CNS Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain and spinal cancer, in June last year. After completing his primary treatment in September, he surprised fans with a comeback set at Ibiza’s DC-10, his first since the diagnosis.
On 6th December, the founder of the Solid Grooves label shared an update on his health, stating his remission post a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. Despite the physical toll, he expressed eagerness to “get home, process, heal & prepare for the future with you all.”
