Phoebe Bridgers Releases Bo Burnham Cover to Benefit Texas Abortion Funds

Phoebe Bridgers has released a cover of Bo Burnham’s “That Funny Feeling,” which she’s been performing on her fall tour of the United States. Proceeds for the Bandcamp Friday track benefit Texas Abortion Funds, which splits money between ten different organizations in the state. “This one’s for [Republican Texas Governor] Greg Abbott,” Bridgers said in a statement. Earlier this year, Abbott passed some of the country’s most restrictive abortion laws. The song appears in Burnham’s Netflix special Inside, which was recently up for Outstanding Music and Original Lyrics and Outstanding Variety Special Emmys.
