Watch Kacey Musgraves Perform “Justified” and “Camera Roll” on SNL
Kacey Musgraves was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week, the premiere of the show’s 47th season. She performed “Justified” and “Camera Roll” from her new album star-crossed, and fellow Texan Owen Wilson hosted the episode. During “Justified,” Musgraves wore cowboy boots and appeared to be nude behind her acoustic guitar. She later tweeted a still of Robin Wright doing the same as Jenny in Forrest Gump. Watch Musgraves take the stage and Wilson’s monologue below.
In addition to the songs, Musgraves released star-crossed with a visual companion on Paramount+. She’ll tour the United States in support of the record early next year. Halsey is set to appear on SNL with Kim Kardashian West next week, followed by performances from Young Thug and Brandi Carlile later this fall. The premiere’s Weekend Update segment ended with a brief highlight reel of jokes by Weekend Update alum Norm Macdonald, who died unexpectedly in September.
