Anvaya Returns with Their New Debut EP, ‘Sands Between Us’

Anvaya, known for South Asian-inspired sounds, has released their highly anticipated debut EP, Sands Between Us on Indo Warehouse. Following the success of their first single, “Dheere“, this EP offers a deeper exploration of their unique sound.

Sands Between Us shows Anvaya‘s innovative approach, combining cultural references with electronic music elements. The EP features tracks like “Laal Chunariya,” “Yaadein,” and “Take My Hand,” which are infused with melodic house, pop sensibilities, and rhythmic tribal grooves. The use of traditional instruments such as the mridangam, khol, and reversed santoor textures adds a rich layer of depth to the music.

Singer and songwriter Sonia reflects on the launch of the EP, “Releasing Sands Between Us feels surreal! Hundreds of hours have been spent writing this release, pushing us creatively and emotionally.There is danger in sharing your innermost fears and battles through music, but it’s made possible due to the trust and camaraderie Kaushal and I have in the studio.”

Anvaya will play at Coachella and tour North America in support of the release. They have already wowed crowds with sets at top events such as Sunburn Festival, AD, and SXM Festival, as well as appearances on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM.
