Avicii’s “Loving Feeling” Revived With New Rework

A long-lost gem from Avicii ’s legendary Ultra Miami 2016 set has finally resurfaced, reimagined for a new generation of dance music fans.

The track, Loving Feeling,” was originally written in 2016 by Avicii, Cazzette, and The High. Though it instantly resonated with festival-goers when Avicii debuted it live, the demo never received an official release, joining a list of highly sought-after IDs from one of EDM’s most influential producers. After his passing in 2018, the song lingered only in fan recordings and memories.

Now, nearly a decade later, The High, Helion, Alex Brazi, and Thomas Irwin have revived the demo, transforming it into a euphoric new single. Released today via Ultra Records, the track pays tribute to its origins while carving out its own identity.

“I’ve always been so proud of this song ever since we came up with the idea in 2016,” The High said. “This edit is true to the original idea of the song which I love.”

The 2025 version brings a fresh burst of energy, balancing soulful vocals with anthemic production that stays true to the emotional core of the original. While fans may note the absence of Avicii’s actual production elements—a decision made out of respect for his legacy—the rework highlights the enduring strength of the melody and songwriting. Ultra Records confirmed that no one used original Avicii stems in the release.

For longtime Avicii supporters, “Loving Feeling” represents more than just another single. It’s a chance to revisit one of the most iconic moments of his Ultra Miami set, reframed by artists who shared in the original vision. For new listeners, it’s an opportunity to experience a piece of EDM history, brought forward with a modern polish.

With this revival, the legacy of Avicii continues to echo across festival fields and streaming platforms—proof that some melodies are simply too powerful to remain unheard.
