Doctor P & Flux Pavilion Drop First Album Together After 20 Years

Doctor P and Flux Pavilion have made bass music for over two decades. Now, they’ve finally dropped their first self-titled album together. The album is out on Circus Records, the label they co-founded. It’s 15 tracks of heavy bass, weird sounds, and pure energy.

This album feels like a mix of everything they love. “Feel Good” starts things off with big melodies and thick bass. “I Luv It” sounds like a disco track thrown into a blender. Then there’s “Vegemite,” which is chaotic and unpredictable. Every song is different, but they all fit together.

Doctor P and Flux Pavilion helped shape dubstep, and you can hear their history in this album. But it’s not just a throwback. They try new sounds, new tempos, and new ways to shake up the genre. Some tracks feel cinematic; others just hit hard. They’re still experimenting, still having fun.

They’ve said that making this album was like messing around with a friend. You can hear that. It’s serious, but it’s also playful. They’re not just producers—they’re two friends making music because they love it.

To celebrate, they’re playing a back-to-back set at Ultra Music Festival on March 30. Expect loud bass and big drops.

The album proves that Doctor P and Flux Pavilion still know how to make music that hits. Dubstep isn’t dead. It’s just getting started again.
