Don Diablo Debuts New Track “The Devil Works Hard” on Sweat It Out

Don Diablo continues his deep dive into the darker corners of the dancefloor with “The Devil Works Hard,” a stripped-back, late-night-ready collaboration with Australian producer Tseba.

After marking the 10-year anniversary of his HEXAGON label earlier this year with the gritty “Freek Like Me,” Don Diablo made it clear that 2025 would be about returning to the essence of club culture. “The Devil Works Hard” picks up that thread and sharpens it. The track leans into the foundations of house and garage while staying firmly rooted in modern production values.

“This year, my goal is to bring the energy back to the dance floor,” Diablo says. “Teaming up with Tseba for this one felt like the perfect match — it’s been a secret weapon in my sets for a few months now.”

Tseba, known for his genre-fluid approach and feel-good live sets, brings his own touch to the production. His background in house, disco, and soul lends the track a subtle funk beneath its harder edges. “Don Diablo has been on my radar for a long time,” he says. “It was incredible having an opportunity to write something together.

For Don Diablo, the release marks his debut on Sweat It Out, a label known for its consistent presence in global club circuits and its commitment to forward-thinking dance music. It also comes on the heels of his recent collaboration with Nelly Furtado, further underscoring his momentum this year.

Released on the same day Diablo kicks off a summer tour spanning the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, the track arrives at a moment where he’s clearly recalibrating. And with this release, he’s choosing depth over volume, function over flash — a move that feels both calculated and creatively necessary.
