Electronic Maestro Maceo Plex Drops Genre-Defying Album ’93 and Accompanying Feature Film

Maceo Plex, the acclaimed artist, has revealed his latest album, 93, as a tribute to his illustrious career. The album showcases Plex’s adeptness in blending various genres, including house, techno, garage, breaks, and even hip-hop. Consisting of 15 tracks, the album is a dynamic and versatile project that symbolizes a coming-of-age, honoring the three decades of dance music that have led him to this significant moment.

Although 93 represents a departure from Plex’s usual sound, it remains true to his commitment to exploring new musical territories. Released under Lone Romantic, the album includes compelling collaborations, such as “Get Out Of Here,” featuring the renowned Jane’s Addiction frontman and Lollapalooza founder, Perry Farrell.

To complement the album, a feature film has been shot at Barcelona’s Input, where Maceo Plex enthrallingly performed the entire album. The cinematic production adds an artistic dimension to ’93, bringing the album to life with captivating visuals, lighting effects, and appearances by featured artists.
