FKA Twigs Unveils New Single “Perfect Stranger” and Announces Special Rave Events
FKA Twigs has dropped the second single, “Perfect Stranger,” from her highly anticipated upcoming album EUSEXUA. Co-produced by Twigs along with Koreless, Stargate, and Ojivolta, the track showcases her signature experimental sound. Accompanying the release is a visually striking music video, directed by Jordan Hemingway, featuring actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and artist Yves Tumor.
To celebrate the release, Twigs has organized two exclusive rave events. The first took place in Los Angeles on October 17th, with the next one scheduled for October 19th in New York. These follow an earlier rave held in London in September, during which she teased the upcoming album.
EUSEXUA—Twigs’ third studio album—will be released on January 24, 2024, via Young Recordings. The album’s title is a term coined by the artist, inspired by her experiences in Prague’s techno scene during the filming of The Crow. Described as a feeling of transcendence evoked by art, music, and human connection, EUSEXUA explores themes of unity and limitless possibility. This release marks Twigs’ first studio album since 2019’s MAGDALENE, following the 2022 mixtape CAPRISONGS.
