German Watch Brand Sinn Launches New Colorful Limited Edition Set
The well-respected watch brand Sinn has released a collection of time-only limited edition watches in four different dial colors– Aquamarine, Carnelian, Citrine, and Emerald, deemed as the new 556.
Limited to 400 pieces on each model, Sinn is looking to adapt to popular demand after the immediate success of last year’s Rolex’s collection of colorful Oyster Perpetuals. Now, Sinn is offering a much more affordable option coming at around USD1400. The design is simple and parallels Sinn’s design language based on readability and durability. Cased in stainless steel, it measures at 38.5mm and around eleven millimeters in thickness.
Consistent with Sinn’s models, the watches are built for everyday use and 200 meters of water resistance comes as a necessary tool for a daily watch. Equipped with a well-tested movement, the new 556s has the tested Sellita SW200-1 that beats at 28,800 VPH.
A fun offering at a reasonable price for a luxury watch that has so many colorful characteristics, the new 556 collection is the perfect offering by a brand that’s often overlooked. With major brands like Patek Philipe and Vacheron Constantin being guilty for jumping on the hype wagon, why can’t Sinn do the same?
