ESCAPADE MUSIC FESTIVAL

IsoXO, Zedd, Shaq, And More Illuminate The 2024 Escapade Music Festival

The team behind Escapade Music Festival has successfully concluded another thrilling event in Ottawa. The festival took place from June 21-23, delighting the dedicated Canadian dance music fans over the initial two days. However, due to severe weather conditions, the final day had to be cancelled to ensure the safety of all participants, including attendees, performers, and staff.

The festival kicked off with a remarkable “No Redemption” performance by Tchami and Malaa, and DJ Diesel’s “Shaq’s Bass All-Stars,” which dominated a special stage. The opening day also featured performances from rising stars like ISOxo, Knock2, Mau P, along with dance music veterans Zedd and Steve Angello. The second day continued to impress, led by headliners FISHER, ILLENIUM, and Steve Aoki, with notable acts such as Ganja White Night, OddKidOut, and Tape B, and included a diverse lineup with Chase & Status, ACRAZE, Maddix, Vini Vici, Lucas & Steve, and others.

After the last day’s unfortunate cancellation, the organizers quickly communicated with attendees about the situation and refund details through an official statement. They expressed their shared disappointment and stressed that the adverse weather conditions left them with no choice but to prioritize safety.

Artists scheduled for the final day who could not perform included Armin van Buuren, The Chainsmokers, Claptone, GG Magree, James Hype, Kayzo, MORTEN, SLANDER, and Subtronics, among others.

While the missed opportunity of the third day was a setback, the festival’s reputation suggests that attendees can look forward to a significant comeback in 2025.
