Justin Mylo and Karen Harding Deliver Lovelorn House Anthem “Rescue Me” to Close Out 2023
In a captivating collaboration, Justin Mylo and Karen Harding have released their latest track, “Rescue Me,” through Martin Garrix‘s STMPD RCRDS. As the last musical offering from the label in 2023, the song draws inspiration from Faithless‘ iconic 1995 dance classic, “Insomnia.”
“Rescue Me” navigates the depths of heartbreak, with Mylo’s production blending vintage house and trance elements. The track’s lyrics, delivered by Harding, paint a poignant picture of longing and loneliness, as she implores a distant love to rescue her from the isolation’s icy grip.

Justin Mylo shared insights into the collaborative process, stating, “We began with the idea of a melancholic love song, but as the sessions progressed, we realized the potential for a dance song. The influence of ‘Insomnia’ was undeniable, and we wanted to capture that essence while blending it with Karen’s unique sound.”
Harding, one of the dance music industry’s prominent vocalists, expressed her feelings about the project, saying, “I felt hot. I picked my own outfit out of racks and racks of clothes. I felt so good in it.“
Despite the uplifting rhythms and vibrant blend of genres, the song maintains a thread of heartache, creating a dynamic and emotionally resonant listening experience.
You can listen to “Rescue Me” on various streaming platforms, and the track is set to resonate with fans of electronic music as a memorable close to the year.
