Rising Star Rommii Amps Up SoCal With New Monthly Event Showcase
San Diego’s rising talent, Rommii, is set to bring his electrifying presence to Santa Barbara’s electronic music scene with a new monthly event series starting on February 1st, 2024, at EOS Lounge. Rommii, a Mexican-American producer, has gained attention throughout 2023 for his unique blend of house music infused with elements of psychedelia and nostalgia.
The breakout success of Rommii’s single “What We Had Was Real,” accumulating nearly five million streams on Spotify, has propelled him into the spotlight. His monthly showcase, titled Rommii And The Homies, promises high-energy performances featuring Rommii’s signature boiler room-style sets.

The event aims to provide a platform for emerging talents, and Rommii has curated a lineup for the inaugural show that includes Babsy and two winners from an upcoming DJ contest. This reflects Rommii’s commitment to fostering new talent in the electronic music scene.
Producers interested in participating in Rommii’s contest can submit a 15- to 30-minute DJ mix along with an original song or remix they’ve created.
