Just two days after their drop on the market, a new collection of 10,000 pixelated-bird NFTs reached the top of the collection by reaching over $281 million in net sales.
The new Moonbirds collection already has rankings as high as among collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Azuki, and CryptoPunks.
It is no surprise that NFT sales reach gigantic numbers, yet the many members of the NFT community were still stunned at the overnight popularity of Moonbirds.
One reason why the new collection attained overlapping popularity was because of the Proof Collective, which is a crowd of 1,000 NFT collectors, and they were the people behind the Moonbird collections.
Regardless of the contributing factors, the subject of Moonbirds remains a hot topic and have made their mark in the NFT world.
