Premiere | New York Native Frank Vanegas Collaborates With Melaner On “What I Need”
Prolific artist Frank Vanegas drops another banger called “What I Need”. A stunning collaboration with fellow artist Melaner, “What I Need” debuts alongside a beautifully executed music video that perfectly fits the vibe. The English-Spanish rapping and singing is simply exquisite as the trap and hip hop soundscapes fuse together vibrantly. The clip was directed by NYC director-editor Eirik while the choreography was created by the one and only Tyler McNair.
“What I Need” is practically an anthem of love—and a healthy relationship at that. The artist dives right in, telling his partner about his feelings and how he is “never gonna hold you back,” instead he will “hold her hand”. Of course, she reciprocates, saying that “you’re what I need”. What a fantastic song with hundreds of thousands of streams!
Following up on his 2020 singles that made quite a bit of noise—“Free Fall”, “Pick You Up”, and “What You Gonna Do”—the talented singer continues to impress the world with incredible versatility. Every new song is an absolute treat and the fans love it!
Born and raised in Queens, NY, Frank Vanegas’ passion for hip hop began at a very early age. He is a Colombian-American hip hop artist that has gone through the criminal justice system. He writes music based on real life experiences with a distinct sound that is a musical blend made of conscious, trap and traditional hip hop. He held some acclaimed performances throughout New York City and continues to build a loyal fan base thanks to his artistic expression.
