R3HAB Joins ‘Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves’ Soundtrack With New Track “Rise or Fall”
Multi-platinum DJ and producer R3HAB has released a new single, “Rise or Fall,” as part of the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves soundtrack. The track arrives ahead of the game’s long-anticipated return, marking the first new installment in SNK’s iconic fighting franchise since 1999’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
“Rise or Fall” represents a shift in R3HAB’s sonic palette, moving away from big-room festival drops and toward a more focused, melodic techno sound. Anchored by trance-influenced vocals and fluttering synths, the track is designed for dual function—supporting the adrenaline of competitive gameplay while maintaining the emotional pacing needed for club and streaming contexts. Its structure is more restrained than many of his previous singles, with atmosphere taking priority over spectacle.
R3HAB joins a global lineup of artists contributing to the Fatal Fury soundtrack, including Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Salvatore Ganacci, and Alok. Future additions are set to include Afrojack, ARTBAT, Solomun, and others. The full soundtrack features 19 exclusive tracks created specifically for the game, aiming to match its new visual and mechanical identity, including the innovative “REV System” and updated control schemes designed for both newcomers and long-time fans.
“I’m excited to release my first single from the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves soundtrack,” R3HAB shared. “Video games are a big part of my personal story, so projects like this are always energizing and exciting for me.”
With over 12 billion streams to date and a track record of genre-spanning collaborations—from ZAYN to Ava Max to Luis Fonsi—R3HAB continues to adapt his production style to evolving platforms. His involvement in Fatal Fury aligns with a broader trend of DJs engaging with gaming franchises to reach new audiences and expand the context in which electronic music is experienced.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set for release later this year.
