“Under Construction” Takeover at Electric Zoo-Chris Lake and FISHER’s Debut

Chris Lake and FISHER, two colossal entities in the house music scene, are about to shake things up at Electric Zoo with the premiere of their “Under Construction” sub-event. Well-known for their multitude of chart-busting tracks, these pioneers are ready to bring an unprecedented flavor to the festival’s inaugural day with their unique show.

Their unique “Under Construction” venture has already left its mark at standalone festivals, but now it’s gearing up for a significant showcase at the Electric Zoo. The duo’s electrifying performance will be a standout event at New York’s top-tier electronic music festival.

The festival has a new addition this year: MegaMirage, a stage designed by Brooklyn Mirage. The idea behind MegaMirage is to create a “festival within a festival,” and it’s strategically located in an expanded, secluded section of the festival grounds, equipped with dedicated entry and exit points.

Hand-picked by Chris Lake and FISHER, the Electric Zoo 2023 lineup for the “Under Construction” stage includes Cloonee, Mau P, Rebūke, HoneyLuv, Yolanda Be Cool, and Charles Meyer.

HoneyLuv expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “I love playing in New York, the crowd’s love for house music, and the welcoming and warming atmosphere makes me super excited to come back to the city and experience it all over again with Under Construction at EZoo.”

Also riding a wave of success is Mau P, who shot to fame with his breakthrough single “Drugs From Amsterdam.” Now, with hits like “Gimme That Bounce” and “Your Mind Is Dirty,” he continues to make waves in 2023. Speaking on the upcoming performance, the Dutch DJ shared, “Ever since my first tour in the US earlier this year, NYC has held a special place in my heart. The shows we did there absolutely went off, so needless to say I’m looking forward to the next round at Electric Zoo’s Under Construction Stage!”
