Four Years After Launch, PRAANA’s Masterminds Revealed: Tritonal Takes Center Stage

After four years of mystery, the electronic music world now knows the creative geniuses behind the PRAANA project. Tritonal, the highly-acclaimed trance and progressive house duo, have finally lifted the veil, admitting that they are the masterminds behind PRAANA. In a candid Instagram post, the duo shared how the PRAANA project enabled them to create music from a more genuine perspective, without the subconscious pressure of living up to the “Tritonal” standard.

Tritonal wrote, “For the last 3 years, we’ve been composing & producing deep melodic music under another moniker, PRAANA! This has given us both time & inner space to curate new music authentically without the expectation or filtration of whatever is thought of as being ‘Tritonal worthy.’ We’ve subsequently released around 25 records.”

In addition to revealing their identities, PRAANA also announced their newest track, a collaboration with Danni Cara entitled “Moment.” This song serves as the first single from their highly anticipated debut album, set to be released on April 12th through Colorize Music.

To provide further insight into the PRAANA project, the duo shared a six-minute video explaining the initiative’s purpose, the music they’ve created under this alias, and how it has unlocked their musical potential over the past few years. The primary goal of the PRAANA moniker is to create music without any pressures or restraints, a challenge many musicians often face.
