Above & Beyond Return With a Powerful New Album “Bigger Than All Of Us”

Above & Beyond Return With New Album ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’

Above & Beyond have made their long-awaited return with the release of Bigger Than All Of Us, their first full-length electronic album in seven years. The trio, celebrated for their emotive take on trance and progressive house, describe the project as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the community they’ve built over their 25-year journe

“This album is us appreciating how amazing this thing we have is. The realization of how lucky we are that we get to be part of something like this for 25 years, and to have built a community that cares for each other in the way it does,” Above & Beyond said in a press release. “When we all work together to make something happen, something bigger happens.”

The album stands as the group’s fifth fully electronic project and follows their 2018 release Common Ground. Each track flows seamlessly into the next, showcasing Above & Beyond’s signature ability to craft cohesive, immersive journeys. Collaborations play a central role on the album, with vocal contributions from long-standing partners like Zoë Johnston, Justine Suissa, and Richard Bedford, as well as new voices such as Victoria Horn, Malou, Oliver Smith, and Opposite The Other.

Highlights include “Carry Me Home” featuring Zoë Johnston, an uplifting trance anthem brimming with cathartic vocals, and “Blood From A Stone” with Richard Bedford, which dives into euphoric drum & bass territory. “Here Before,” a collaboration with Oliver Smith & Opposite The Other, merges cinematic trance with electrifying house elements, while the closing track “Lullaby” offers a reflective and understated finale.

With its carefully sequenced tracks and deeply emotional tone, Bigger Than All Of Us reaffirms Above & Beyond’s legacy as one of the most enduring acts in electronic music. The album underscores their belief that dance music is as much about connection and shared experience as it is about sound.
