“A WHOLE NEW DIRECTION”: TIËSTO IS READYING A NEW ALBUM

Tiësto is readying his grooviest album yet. Tiësto achieved huge success with “The Business” and “The Motto,” the tracks that pushed more than 900 million streams on Spotify at the time of writing. This month’s release, a brand new collaboration with pop star Charli XCX called “Hot In It,” takes fans on a journey through the superstar DJ’s history.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1, Tiësto revealed that his upcoming album is taking a “whole new direction.” “I’m also working on an album and this is for me a complete new direction. I’ve been going more housey and more groovy. And it’s a whole new direction, so it’s very exciting,” Tiësto told Lowe. “I love that I could be anything nowadays, not just boxed into one style or one sound,” he added. “It makes life so much more exciting when you have DJ sets and you can literally play whatever you want.”
