ANOTR Drop Disco-Infused House Album, ‘On A Trip’
Dutch duo ANOTR have released their highly anticipated third album, On A Trip, a 14-track record available via their own No Art label. Two years in the making, the album highlights their growth as artists and their dedication to pushing the boundaries of house music.
The album is a vibrant fusion of 70s-inspired disco, psychedelia, and contemporary house, offering a captivating experience. From the groovy opener Unlock to tracks like “How You Feel,” “Currency (Count On Me),” and “Falling Feels Like Flying,” the album radiates pure serotonin, capturing the essence of sun-drenched house music that lifts your mood instantly.
In contrast to the euphoric highs, ANOTR explore introspective moments in tracks like “Don’t Understand Ya,” “Bad Trip,” and “Care For You,” the latter marking their first song based on personal experiences. These tracks retain the duo’s signature rhythm but shift toward a more soulful, wistful energy.
The album also takes a psychedelic turn with tracks such as “Simple Rules,” “Here For You,” and “Living In A Dream.” One standout, “SET IT ON FIRE,” brings a punk-inspired energy, marking a fearless creative direction. Closing with “6am,” a trippy, danceable track that perfectly encapsulates the feeling of dancing until sunrise.
