Coachella Debuts New Quasar Stage Focused on Extended Electronic Sets
Coachella attendees seeking extended dancefloor journeys will have a new destination this year: the Quasar stage. Debuting in 2024, Quasar takes the place of the Sahara stage, offering festival-goers three-hour DJ sets across both weekends (April 12–14 and April 19–21).
Featuring “two monolithic LED walls,” Quasar promises a visually immersive experience alongside the extended sets. The new stage will be situated next door to the Eldorado Polo Club, while the Sahara undergoes a significant expansion in size and location.
The Quasar lineup boasts a selection of heavyweight DJs. Weekend One highlights include Honey Dijon back-to-back Green Velvet, the highly-anticipated back-to-back trio of Jamie xx, Floating Points, and Daphni, and a set from Michel Bibi, who recently beat cancer. Weekend Two counters with performances from RÜFÜS DU SOL, Eric Prydz back-to-back Anyma, and a back-to-back set from Diplo and Mau P.
Coachella’s 2024 lineup boasts a strong electronic music contingent, featuring Gesaffelstein, Justice, Anyma (who will also perform on the Quasar stage), Charlotte de Witte, John Summit, Steve Angello, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla, and the EDM.com Class alumni ISOxo and Knock2.
Weekend One tickets for Coachella are sold out, but passes for Weekend Two are still available for purchase here.
