“IT’S HAPPENING”: CALVIN HARRIS CONFIRMS NEW ALBUM IS COMING
On Wednesday, Calvin Harris announced that he’s releasing a new album this summer. The follow up to 2017’s “Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1,” which included hits singles “Feels” featuring Katy Perry, Pharrell, and Big Sean, “Slide,” and “Heatstroke,” marks Harris’ sixth album and first in 5 years. “Funk Wav Bounces Vol 2” was announced via the Scottish DJ on social media with a caption to the image that suggests that the project will drop in Summer 2022.
The collaborators who will appear on the hotly anticipated album reportedly include Snoop Dogg and David Guetta. A teaser appeared where Snoop Dogg says, “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I’d like to welcome you inside the Snoop Dogg, Calvin Harris experience. Ya dig?” Tiësto teased a potential collaboration between David Guetta and Calvin Harris with a single comment on Harris’ latest Instagram post. “We need that collab between you guys!!” the Dutch DJ wrote.
