
Lewis Capaldi Wins Songwriter Of The Year Award
On Tuesday, ASCAP (American Society of Composer, authors and Publishers) announced the winners of the 2021 ASCAP London Music Awards. And this year the spotlight was on none other than Lewis Capaldi.
The Scottish singer and songwriter dominated the 2021 ASCAP London Music Awards as he scooped four different awards.
Capaldi won the songwriter award after the huge success of his two hits “Before You Go” and “Someone You Loved”. The latter won not only the song of the year award but also the top streaming song award. In addition to that, “Before You Go” got the Winning Hot 100 song award.
