M.I.A. Launches Clothing Line Including “Tin Foil Hat” to Block Wi-Fi and 5G Signals
M.I.A. has unveiled a new fashion line featuring a controversial “tin foil hat” that claims to block “99.99 per cent of Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G” signals from affecting the brain.
The UK artist announced the Ohmni collection on Alex Jones’s Infowars, known for its controversial content, before sharing it on Instagram. The lineup includes a “reversible two-tone hat,” a “full shield graphic armour tee,” and a “full protection poncho.” Central to the collection is the hat made from “pure copper and nickel faraday fabric,” promising complete brain shielding.
Promoted as safeguarding “privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data,” the Ohmni range positions itself as essential in today’s digital age, likening its wearers to “modern knights” in the face of technological threats.
Accompanying the launch is a bold statement urging wearers to consider the potential implications: “Future backwards is R U TUF,” suggesting that wearing these garments could potentially mitigate risks, although acknowledging the speculative nature of such claims.
M.I.A. has a history of provocative statements, including discussions on vaccines and linking 5G technology with health concerns. Her latest venture underscores her ongoing engagement with contentious issues.
In addition to her fashion endeavors, M.I.A. continues her musical career, recently releasing ‘Bells Collection,’ a mixtape featuring collaborations with artists such as Skrillex and Blaqstarr, marking her return since the 2022 album ‘MATA’.
