SVDDEN DEATH and Marshmello Drop Intense ‘MELLODEATH’ Mixtape
Electronic heavyweights SVDDEN DEATH and Marshmello have teamed up to unleash their latest collaboration, the formidable MELLODEATH Tapes Vol. 1.
The mixtape kicks off with “Triumphant,” a track that exudes melodic bass euphoria, offering listeners a brief reprieve from the chaotic journey that lies ahead. However, the mood swiftly shifts with “Fireball,” a collaboration with metalcore band Crown the Empire. Here, blistering vocals tear through a relentless dubstep backdrop, creating a visceral and electrifying experience.
“Vortexblade” takes a more minimalist approach, with croaking basslines weaving through thunderous 808s, creating an atmosphere that is both haunting and hypnotic. Closing out the mixtape is “Burn It Down,” a high-octane fusion of Wave and riddim elements that culminates in an anthemic finale.
This release sets the stage for the upcoming “MELLODEATH” tour, where fans can expect to experience the full force of SVDDEN DEATH and Marshmello’s collaboration live in concert. The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 4th at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
In the meantime, SVDDEN DEATH is gearing up for an electrifying performance at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, where he will be joined by Eptic and Space Laces for a highly anticipated set under the moniker MASTERHAND.
