Tame Impala Apologize to Fans for Canceled Shows
Yesterday (June 22), Tame Impala announced their 2021 “Phase 1 Rushium® Trials” tour, the dates of which completely replace their previous tour itinerary. The new trek omits a handful of previously announced shows, for which refunds will be issued. Now, the band have apologized for canceling some of the prior dates.
“We have been so excited to announce rescheduled dates for 2021,” the band tweeted, adding: “Also… we understand that the excitement for some is a huge disappointment for others.” They cite travel restrictions and changes in festival dates as contributions to making “some shows impossible to do this year.” Find their full remarks below.
