Watch Lil Silva’s Video For The New Single “Another Sketch”

Yesterday Is Heavy, Lil Silva’s long-awaited debut album has eight collaborations.

Little Dragon, BADBADNOTGOOD, serpentwithfeet, Sampha, and other grime royalty Ghetts appear on the album, which has been in the works for 10 years. It was largely produced in Lil Silva’s hometown of Bedford, England, and will be released on July 15th via Nowhere Music. Benji B assisted with musical direction.

Lil Silva has released recordings on Night Slugs and Good Years since breaking onto the scene in 2008 with the UK funky hit “Seasons,” and has collaborated with Mark Ronson, George Fitzgerald, and pop giant Adele.

The first single from Yesterday Is Heavy, “Backwards feat. Sampha,” came out last month. Watch the videos for that one and the new single “Another Sketch,” which was directed by Fenn O’Meally and features Lil Silva’s family.
