ZEXZY’S SUMMER HYMN “OBSESSION” HITS THE US ITUNES TOP 100 CHARTS
Record breaking Nigerian artist, ZeXzy, has earned worldwide recognition and acclaim thanks to his latest single “Obsession.” The Afro-Pop track comes with an epic music video that tells the story of a certain queen, waking up the “God Of Obsession,” who has been asleep since 519 BC.
Natasha Gartner who features in “Obsession” as the queen who is mad about ZeXzy, brings out the sensuality and charm in the songwriter who sings: “She wanna come over/ Say she wanna taste my sugar/ Say the man sweet pass Fura/ And she no want no other no other/ Come over said she wanna taste my sugar/ Say the man sweet pass Fura/ And she no want no other no other.”
In addition to reaching the No. 1 spot on Boomplay Music Charts, “Obsession” also hit the iTunes Top 100 Chart in the USA, gaining traction in the cities of Buffalo, Michigan, Columbus, and San Jose. The global hit has additionally grown popular in Ontario and Hamilton, dominating the Canadian Shazam charts.
ZeXzy’s “Obsession” follows the release of the 2021 EP Na Who that includes five tracks, among which are “Troway,” and “My Mind.” Garnering millions of views and multitude of streams across various platforms, the international star has come a long way from his days in Benin, Edo state, Nigeria.
