The Weeknd drops blinding-lights inspired digital collectibles on the NFT platform
To celebrate The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” becoming the No. 1 song on Billboard, Abel and Billboard have released a collection of NFTs on Tom Brady‘s platform, “Autograph.”
Brady’s “Autograph” brings together a selection of unique autographed NFTs from the most iconic brands and names in culture. Simone Biles, Tony Hawk, and now already The Weeknd have joined the platform. Their names and signatures are attached to the digital art. Abel’s NFT partnership with Billboard started on Dec 20 and ends on Dec 23 on OpenSea. Each drop sells for 0.1 ETH – approximately $382 and is signed by Abel himself.
Besides NFTs, The Weeknd is also keeping busy with music. On Thursday, he released a collaboration with FKA Twigs, “Tears in the Club.” Just a few hours later he dropped his first-ever collab track with R&B icon Aaliyah, “Poison,” for her upcoming posthumous album.
