Charlie Puth released the long-awaited music video for the song ”Light Switch”

On January 20 Charlie Puth released the long-awaited music video for the song Light Switch. Before its release, Puth teased the audience with song cut offs on TikTok. The looks of the characters’ in the music video are inspired by 80’s gym looks. He talks about heartbreak, overcoming laziness and depression, but in a dreamy way mixed with easy listening and a smooth sound.  

Charlie Says: “I created the concept for this music video based on an idea I had and shared with the incredible director, Christian Breslauer. I wanted to humorously portray all the things we sometimes try to change about ourselves in order to capture that unrequited love, when deep down we should be changing our lives only to benefit ourselves and no one else.”
