Louis The Child and What So Not to Headline “Alter-Ego” 2023 at Brooklyn Mirage
In a thrilling announcement, Louis The Child and What So Not have teamed up to perform an unforgettable DJ set at the much-awaited 2023 “Alter-Ego” takeover at Brooklyn Mirage. This unique event, returning after its successful debut last year, is all set to metamorphose the urban space of Brooklyn into a sonic wonderland, marking another groundbreaking move from Louis The Child.
Ever since they introduced “Alter-Ego” to the music scene, Louis The Child has fueled a new wave of enthusiasm, with the event quickly becoming a sensation. The creative minds behind Louis The Child shared their philosophy with EDM.com at the inaugural “Alter-Ego” gathering at Avant Gardner: “We like the idea of giving artists a platform to do something different because we recognize it in ourselves and so many of our artist friends. People aren’t single-minded and enjoy playing and listening to different styles of music.”
Louis The Child‘s exclusive takeover is all set to return in grandeur on August 19th, with a headline act featuring What So Not, the talented Australian electronic music creator. The collaboration between the two acts is not new – What So Not joined Louis The Child on tour in 2021, which culminated in the creation of “On Air,” an enchanting track from his acclaimed second album, Anomaly.
Notably, the upcoming 2023 edition of “Alter-Ego” is not limited to Louis The Child and What So Not. It boasts of an exceptional line-up featuring performances by JOYRYDE, Snakehips, Pauline Herr, The Knocks, and more. Moreover, Louis The Child will also perform under their Black Marble alias, promising a rare treat for fans.
