
Andrea Bocelli Signs a Deal With Universal Music Group
The Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli signed an exclusive multi-album global deal with Universal Music Group.
Universal Music is considered as the world’s leading music company. Furthermore, in 2019, Universal Music Group was selected as the most innovative music company by the American Business Magazine – Fast Company.
UMG is planning on introducing Bocelli’s legacy to the new younger generation. Moreover, the deal includes not only new albums but a series of audiovisual projects, branding services and merchandising. Previously, the classical music superstar has sold over more than 90 million albums worldwide and generated more that 5 billion streams.
Universal Music Group is known to be home for many artists including Taylor Swift, Adele, Mariah Carey and many more.
