Beyoncé wins all electronic categories at the 2023 Grammy Awards
There is an unprecedented surprise in the electronic music world. Beyoncé has won all the electronic music categories, last night at the 2023 Grammy Awards. The best Dance / Electro album for her album “Renaissance” and the best Dance / Electro track for her single “Break My Soul”. At the same time, she became the most awarded artist (male and female) in the Grammys’ history with 32 awards. Despite this huge performance that must absolutely be highlighted and congratulated, the electronic awards are more than disappointing, since it is rather absurd to award Beyonce in these categories, even if her track has a strong electronic/dance orientation.
The nominees in the best dance/electronic music track category:
Beyoncé – Break My Soul
Bonobos – Rosewood
Diplo x Miguel – Don’t Forget My Love
David Guetta x Bebe Rexha – I’m Good
KAYTRANADA x H.E.R. – Intimidated
Rüfus Du Sol – On My Knees
The nominees in the best dance/electronic music album category:
Beyonce – Renaissance
