Beyoncé Wins Best Dance/Electronic Music AlbuM
The 2023 Grammys, held on February 5th, saw Beyoncé crowned as the top Grammy winner of all time as she took home the award for best dance/electronic album for “Renaissance.” Beyoncé, who has won 32 Grammy Awards, had already had a successful night by taking home trophies for Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa,” and Best Dance/Electronic Song with “Break My Soul.“
As she went up on stage to collect her fourth award of the night, she delivered an emotional speech, fighting back tears. Beyoncé thanked God for protecting her, her parents, her husband, and her children, as well as the queer community and the Grammys. She also took to social media to express her gratitude towards her fans, known as the “Beyhive.” In her post, she thanked them for their love and loyalty and gave shoutouts to The Dream, Tricky, HOV, and Big Freedia.
Before the historic win, Beyoncé expressed her excitement and gratitude for the recognition she received for her vocal performance. She also expressed her joy and appreciation for the talented vocalists who covered her songs on TikTok.
