Charlotte De Witte Releases A new EP Titled “Apollo”
On her KNTXT label, Charlotte de Witte has released a new EP. Below is a link to “Apollo.” The four-track “Apollo” EP, which is followed by her October 2021 album “Asura,” is the Belgian techno star’s first new music on her own label since April’s “Universal Consciousness.”
A name like Charlotte de Witte doesn’t disappear with time; on the contrary, it tends to get glossier. Major occasions in 2022 put Charlotte in front of a large audience of supporters. She made history in July when she became the first female musician to shut the mainstage at Tomorrowland, a venue that didn’t appear to have enough space for everyone who wanted to watch this significant event.
Charlotte de Witte maintains control of the top slots on the techno release charts, adorning them with quantity but mainly with quality. Her trippy four-track EP “Universal Consciousness,” released in April, was followed by the recently released “Asura.”
With her stunning new EP, Charlotte is now taking you to new heights. This piece of work, which drew inspiration from the cosmos, tries to examine the similarities between space and techno, according to the Belgian prodigy:
‘The vastness and solitude of space always interested me. A compelling contrast between monumental power and the vacuum in between. This diversion can also be found in techno music, a pure simplicity divergent in power.’
