Nadia Struiwigh, Nosedrip, Wata Igarashi, and Others Set to Perform at Event on August 1st
Excited to announce a robust lineup of panels, workshops, and screenings set for the Dekmantel Festival 2024, taking place on Thursday, August 1st. This engaging day of industry insights and networking will be held across two iconic venues: Tolhuistuin and the EYE Film Institute. The schedule includes hands-on production workshops featuring insights from Nadia Struiwigh and Wata Igarashi, and an insightful label management session led by STROOM 〰 founder Nosedrip.
Participants can also engage in ‘Playing Favourites’ with Palms Trax, enjoy a live discussion between Lena Willikens and Vladimir Ivkovic, and attend a comprehensive panel aimed at newcomers looking to navigate the music industry, organized by Jasmín.
Adding to the festival’s educational offerings, the programme includes an exclusive interview with Johnny Jewel, a documentary screening titled “Free Party: A Folk History” exploring the Spiral Tribe movement, a panel dedicated to the art of visual creation in electronic music, and a hands-on open studio seminar led by Aurora Halal. These sessions are planned to occur at Het HEM on the 27th and 28th of July and will continue at the EYE Film Institute on August 1st.
Celebrating its tenth edition, Dekmantel Festival will run from July 26th through August 4th, showcasing over 200 artists including the likes of Bicep, Luke Slater, Aurora Halal, Avalon Emerson, and an exciting back-to-back performance by Mala and James Blake.
