Peggy Gou Debuts “Lobster Telephone,” a House Track in Korean

Peggy Gou has been steadily releasing tracks from her eagerly anticipated debut LP, I Hear You. Just last month, the DJ dropped a new song titled “1+1=11,” accompanied by an official music video helmed by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson.

This new track follows her collaboration with Lenny Kravitz from last year. The song, “I Believe In Love Again,” blends house and R&B elements, creating a groove reminiscent of the ‘90s.

Peggy Gou has released a new track titled “Lobster Telephone,” which pays homage to Salvador Dalí’s 1936 sculpture featuring a lobster atop a rotary phone.

In this vibrant song, the DJ sings in Korean: “I know you don’t understand this / But it doesn’t matter / It’s all the same / We’re all the same.”

Set for a June 7 release, I Hear You represents countless hours of Gou’s dedication to creating a timeless piece, highlighting the importance of listening to both ourselves and others, as she explains.
