Tomorrowland ‘s Rise Stage: Young DJs Take the Spotlight on the World’s Biggest Festival Platform
Tomorrowland, the iconic music festival held in Belgium, is making headlines with the announcement of its newest stage, Rise, which will feature talented DJs as young as 11 years old. This year’s Tomorrowland event will have a total of 16 stages, with Rise being a part of the Tomorrowland Academy series. The Tomorrowland Academy series provides kids with the opportunity to engage in weeklong electronic music mentoring workshops, fostering their passion and skills in this field.

The Rise stage is set to host 23 artists, who will showcase their mixing prowess with the finesse of a “Connect Four” champion on the playground. Among the impressive lineup is DJ Michelle, an 11-year-old prodigy from Azerbaijan, now based in Dubai. DJ Michelle is no stranger to achievements in the music world, having competed in the DMC World DJ Championship at the young age of nine.
The rise of young DJs in the music industry is gaining recognition, as seen by the recent history-making performance of a nine-year-old DJ at England’s renowned Glastonbury Festival.
